This summer I had the amazing opportunity to cruise the Mediterranean with the entire extended Nelson Family. We took in some amazing art, architecture, and 3000+ years of history. Our journey will be in day-by-day blog entries.

Rome showed us the amazing artwork of the Renaissance, including the works of the Sistine Chapel, and the amazing architecture of places like St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican City.

Aix-en-Provence

This summer I had the amazing opportunity to cruise the Mediterranean with the entire extended Nelson Family. We took in some amazing art, architecture, and 3000+ years of history. Our journey will be in day-by-day blog entries.

Aix-en-Provence was lifelong home to the father of modern art, Paul Cézanne. Our trip to Aix included a guided tour of the art and architecture and the fruit and vegetable and flower markets. We managed to take in an exhibit of the Pearlman Collection at the local art museum, which featured several of Cézanne's watercolors.

An Amazing Journey Part Four

Florence, Italy showed us the Statue of David, 17-feet tall, cleaned and protected inside the Accademia Gallery of the Uffitizi Museum.

Collage and Cocktails

Check out my recent art and music inspired Collage and Cocktails class which took place at the Grand Bohemian Hotel and Gallery in downtown Orlando, FL.

We had a wonderful time with our Blueberry Açaí Blueberry Van Gogh vodka cocktail and an iris collage project inspired by the art of Van Gogh.
