Cupcake Commission Completed

© St. Hilaire Nelson 2010

So many kind compliments about the cupcake commission! (you know how I love alliteration) I had to wait a bit to get a good quality photo but here it is, the final piece with the magazine lettering included.

It has been shipped off to Beth at A Little Something Bakery. I hope she is happy with the final piece. Much thanks to Jackie at Celebrations Gallery and Shoppes for making the introduction.

  1. THIS IS WONDERFUL! You've outdone yourself, Elizabeth. I know the new owner will be very pleased with what you have created. Congratulations.

  2. Oh my gosh, of course she'll be thrilled! What darling colors and those cupcake papers...how DO you do that? I am in the midst of creating two paper paintings...a sock monkey (part of an old but cuddly toy series) and a tea pot (inspired by the awful rain and cold in WI!) Seeing these is SUCH an inspiration. A reminder to "think outside the box" The Manito Art League saw my "pineapple" paper painting and wants me to do a demo during the show in July! Me? Who has NOT even had a class with Elizabeth yet!!! OH MY GOSH. Keep the inspiration coming!!!

  3. ginny, cupcake wrappers are a trade secret! I can't give it all away, I'll make myself obsolete! LOL

Jo, thanks for your kind words. I do like this one and hope she does too. it was delivered today actually and she said it was "All That and MORE" so I guess that means Beth is happy with it! She's going to send a photo of it in place in the bakery for me to share with you all on the blog. .nice. Sherri, thanks!
