©St.Hilaire Nelson
Poised Peacock 1 & 2 | 20x24 | collage on panel

I gave you all the details on these birds in my last post, but I thought you might like to see them completed. Tonight I will be framing them and tomorrow they'll be delivered to Grand Bohemian Gallery downtown for delivery to their Asheville location!

  1. These babies are absolutely beautiful, Elizabeth. I'm sure the gallery will be very pleased with the quality of this work. And I hope they sell immediately.

  3. Elizabeth, I don't use the word awesome much as I feel it's bandied about recklessly these days - but these are indeed truly awesome pictures! Those birds are alive with wonderful colour and texture!

  4. Your FOREVER is a lot shorter than mine:)--but I can see that something that size is a LOT of torn paper! Sure wish I could see them in person as beautiful as they are on the screen!

  6. wow, thanks for all your kind words. I guess in the end "forever" was worth it. It probably seemed like forever because I did them together, at the same time. That means double the time that it usually takes me to get something off the easel. I wanted them to be a pair, which is why I did it that way, working back and forth between them with the same papers and having them face each other. Remember to click on the image to enlarge!

Now...get back to playin'...can't wait to see whats next!

  9. Elizabeth, your peacocks always stun me. I have to save my pennies so that I can actually own one someday. Cheers to your continued success! I'm so glad you found collage - or it found you - as you are so wonderful together.
